Corrections & Updates

Economic and financial information changes. EconomicHQ maintains a forward-looking update process while preserving useful historical context.

Material corrections

When a material factual error is identified, we correct the article and update the relevant date or correction note when appropriate.

Routine updates

Routine wording, formatting, link, or non-material clarity changes may not receive a separate correction notice.

Changing statistics and product terms

Articles that rely on current rates, product terms, official releases, or other time-sensitive information may be updated when the underlying source materially changes.

Preserving useful URLs

EconomicHQ prefers surgical updates, merges, and redirects over unnecessary deletion when an existing URL has useful history, search value, or reader relevance.

Our broader standards are described in Editorial Policy and Sources & Methodology.
